Some of the most commonly overlook expenses include moving expenses, business credit card interest, job hunting expenses in the same trade or business, and unreimbursed employee expenses. If you move more than 50 miles for work, you can deduct certain moving expenses. If you use a credit card for your business, you can deduct the interest associated with the expenses that you financed. Job hunting expenses can also be deducted, so long as you are searching in the same professional as your previous job. Unreimbursed employee expenses that are necessary to carry out your work or are required by your employer are also eligible.
